Digital learning opportunity

14th October 2022Joanna Patch

Is your young person interested in apps and digital media? Then this exciting project could be just the opportunity for them!

Students from local Haywards Heath schools are invited to join the Enterprise Academy. This is a unique digital learning experience which will give them the opportunity to develop an app in a safe and welcoming online environment that promises them new skills and exciting career opportunities.

To be selected for this project, students are required to commit to attend weekly sessions online, from 1 November – 18 December 2022 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5pm – 5.45pm. Over this period, each session will be focused on developing a custom-built app for Haywards Heath Town Council, where students will be supported by project mentors, and special “skills boost” guests from CloudyIT, Haywards Heath Town Council, Microsoft, and QA.  This practical and peer-led learning environment is designed to empower these young people to work as an online community using the Microsoft Power Platform to build the app, and develop core business and interpersonal skills for improved future employment opportunities supported by industry experts.

Follow the link below to register before 25 October 2022 here: https://cloudyfoundation.co.uk/ea-student-registration/

Say yes to this exciting project to represent Oathall Community College and also gain new skills and potential future career opportunities !
