Our school house system is a proud tradition that fosters a sense of community, camaraderie and friendly competition amongst students. Every student is assigned to one of our houses upon joining the school and becomes part of that house community.
The house system aims to build leadership, teamwork and school spirit. Throughout the year, students compete in various house competitions to earn points for their house. Activities include various sports events, The Oathall mini mile, open mic poetry, Christmas card design, colour run, bake off as well as fundraising events such as the Oathall community day and Christmas hamper collection.
These points contribute to the overall success of the house, with awards and recognitions given out at the end of each term as well as the end of year assembly. Each house works with a nominated charity and any fundraising efforts go straight towards helping those worthy causes. See each house page for details of this years nominated charities.
Belonging to a house means having a supportive network of peers and provides opportunities to develop important skills such as collaboration and resilience in a fun and inclusive environment
Here’s to building friendships, competing with integrity and creating memories together
