Contacting Oathall’s teachers and staff
When contacting teachers or other classroom based staff, please use emails sparingly and respectfully. We believe that it is, in most cases, better to speak to someone about a concern or a complaint than sending an email or posting on social media. We encourage parents to contact the school to make an appointment or ask for a teacher or member of staff to call them back at a convenient time for a conversation. Please see our full code of conduct for contacting and communicating with Oathall staff here.
Teachers and other staff based in classrooms don’t have regular access to emails and a same day response to any emails may well not be possible and should never be expected. Most of our staff work normal school hours between 8:30 am and 4 pm. You should not expect staff to respond to emails or phone calls sent outside of these hours. When there is an urgent issue concerning your child you may find a staff member will contact you outside of these hours.
Teachers and associate staff do not work in the school holidays and you should not expect them to reply to any emails sent during this time.
Please do contact us on [email protected] if you have a question, concern, query, or complaint. We want to know if you feel unhappy about a situation or incident; we are keen to resolve these as quickly as possible.
