Individual revision is the key to success at GCSE. It is crucial that each student follows an organised programme of revision out of school in preparation for the examination periods. This page provides some general information to support revision and details of what to revise for each subject. Content will be added from time to time so do re-visit.

English Literature: Lord of the Flies and Of Mice and Men (Just remember that you should be formal in your essay and rephrase their ideas.)
English Literature: Lord of the Flies,Heroes, Anita and Me, Of Mice and Men and An Inspector Calls (The timings they give for exam questions is slightly more than in the WJEC exam. Students will have 40 minutes to write an essay in the Literature exam.)
All geography students have a paper copy of the revision pack and a CGP revision guide.
Students should access the Geography Google Classroom for revision.
All Year 11 students will receive a revision pack from their teacher containing the information they need to learn as well as advice on how to approach each type of question.

Revision notes booklet
There are 12 set works – the booklet contains a summary page of each one. Students should learn this information, make sure they understand the key terms and features and then memorise them.
The booklet is set up so that parents can ask questions – prompt your child by asking them questions from the left hand column and you will find all the answers in the right hand column. All students have also been given a printed booklet.
