Assembly theme: Remembrance

7th November 2022Joanna Patch

Remembrance Day is a memorial day observed in Commonwealth member states since the end of the First World War to honour armed forces members who have died in the line of duty.

At Oathall, we mark the occasion with a series of assemblies and our own Field of Remembrance on the school Piazza. Our senior student team represents the school at the Haywards Heath remembrance service on Friday 11 November at Muster Green.

Students and staff will observe the two minute silence at 11am on 11 November.

A voluntary donation of £1.50 can be made via ParentPay and will go to The Diana Award charity. House points will be awarded for each student who participates.
