The forecast is for a return to higher temperatures so I want to provide an update on arrangements from Monday 6 July.
Students may wear their Oathall PE kit from Monday. Alternatively they can continue to wear normal school uniform without a blazer or tie. They may also wear hats when outside. These arrangements will be in place until further notice.
Please ensure that your child has a water bottle that they can refill at breaktimes. They will also be able to come into the hall during breaks if they would rather not be outside.
Whilst the current forecast is not expected to reach the temperatures experienced last week, and no red weather warnings have been issued, we feel that these measures are sufficient for students to remain safe and as comfortable as possible.
We will continue to monitor the forecast and let you know if further changes are required. We will review the plans for the scheduled School Games Day early next week and inform you if adjustments are needed.
