Oathall families donated a wonderful array of toys and gifts that will bring joy to so many children this Christmas
Our students played a vital role in this initiative, giving up time to sort and organise the donations before delivering them to The Bentswood Hub. The toys will be distributed in various meaningful ways including the Bentswood hub Christmas party, bespoke Christmas hampers for specific families they work with as well as through social workers working directly with families in our community. This project has demonstrated the power of our community coming together.
We have been overwhelmed by the kindness shown by our amazing families and would like to say a huge thank you!
Oathall is committed to developing outstanding future teachers, and we play a very active role in Initial Teacher Education (ITE). We work closely in partnership within our own Mid Sussex Federation of schools, Sussex, Brighton and Chichester universities, GLF to provide high quality training placements for those seeking a career in teaching.
We are also proud to be part of the new Tanbridge Teacher Training Hub, a new SCITT Hub delivering excellence in Teacher Training across Sussex. Please see attached flyer to find out more.

On Thursday 19th December students are welcome to celebrate the festive season by wearing Christmas Jumpers or accessories to school! This is a great opportunity to bring some holiday cheer and have a little fun as we approach the end of term.
Please note this is optional, and students are welcome to wear their regular uniform if they prefer.
If your child wishes to participate, they can wear a festive jumper, hat, or other accessories alongside their usual uniform (blazers are optional).
A voluntary donation of £2 can be made to Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper day via parent pay.
Thank you to everyone who participated. We raised £780.
