This week was the final session of this year’s Summitting programme for our Year 11 cohort. A group of 20 Year 11 boys have been working with Duncan Wood-Allum from SLC transforming public leisure services – on their future career and life pathways. Duncan leads a highly successful consultancy in the public sport, leisure and active wellbeing sector and is passionate about supporting young people in realising their true potential.
The programme is now in its fifth consecutive year, and focuses on future aspirations and ambitions, setting goals, action planning, accountability and financial awareness.

It is such a wonderful programme and equips the students with the knowledge and skills that they need to be able to step confidently into their exciting ‘next steps’ as they near the end of their time with us at Oathall.
We really appreciate the time Duncan gives to mentor our students over an extended period.
