53 Year 11 students were recognised and celebrated for their outstanding Autumn report. The students had a brunch with SLT and their HOY to celebrate receiving all A1’s for their attitude to learning. Amazing achievement by all.

On Wednesday 17 December students are welcome to celebrate the festive season by wearing Christmas Jumpers or accessories to school! This is a great opportunity to bring some holiday cheer and have a little fun as we approach the end of term.
Please note this is optional, and students are welcome to wear their regular uniform if they prefer.
If your child wishes to participate, they can wear a festive jumper, hat, or other accessories alongside their usual uniform (blazers are optional).
A voluntary donation of £2 can be made to Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper day via parent pay.

Our year 8 students were enthralled when award-winning author Chris Bradford visited Oathall recently. Author of three main series and lots of shorter books, he focused on his first and most popular series, Young Samurai. Our students watched as he demonstrated his skills with the katana (Samurai sword), and they volunteered to come up and serve as his models for various activities, all focused on bringing his books to life. He proved that books are full of adventure, excitement and built a real atmosphere of curiosity that will have them intrigued for a long time.
