Oathall equestrian team – more success

16th November 2023Joanna Patch

The Oathall equestrian team is going from strength to strength. Our team are now competing in show jumping events up to 90cm, as well as dressage competitions. Not deterred by the strong winds and rain last weekend, all riders rode brilliantly. Congratulations to Madison, who did extremely well, placing 2nd out of 62 riders in the 80cm.

Thank you to all involved for your continued support.

Ofsted confirms Oathall is a good school

20th October 2023Joanna Patch

Headteacher, Edward Rodriguez has spoken of his delight at the comments made in the recently published Ofsted inspection of the school.

The inspection, which took place in September, confirms that the school continues to be a good school. Inspectors who visited the school over two days described the school as a ‘happy school community’ and went on to praise many aspects of the school, its governors, staff and students.

Headteacher, Edward Rodriguez said,

“I am delighted to be able to share this report which highlights many of the positive aspects of the school and its community. This report reflects our own self assessment and underpins the effectiveness of our ambitious plans for the school.

I was particularly pleased that so many of our stakeholders – staff, parents and pupils – shared positive opinions about the school and that this was clearly apparent in the surveys that were carried out during the inspection.

I would encourage everyone to read the report which can be found on Ofsted’s website. This positive report is a testament to the whole community and their contribution to making Oathall a good school.”
