Student book reviews

13th March 2023Joanna Patch

Students: Read a good book recently? Why not write a review?

Either:

  1. If you borrow books from the school library, simply go to your borrowing account on Accessit via ‘Other apps’ on the school website. Sign in by clicking the blue ‘ Use this button to login’ button. Just click on a book you have borrowed, and an option will appear to write a review.
  2. Alternatively, you can type a review (up to 250 words) on a Google Doc and share it with Mrs Perrin, who will submit your review to the Lindfield Life magazine – see your name in print (optional).
  3. Or, you can pick up a Start Review form from the library and write a mini-review.

Credits are awarded for each review submitted.

Oathall Quiz Night

7th March 2023Joanna Patch

Oathall PTA Quiz night is back.

The baton has been securely passed from Roger and Hilary to Stephen and his team. The new team have excellent credentials, having previously taken over hosting the quiz night from Roger and Hilary at Lindfield Primary school. They have many successful quiz nights under their belt and we are delighted that they are going to bring this unique evening to Oathall.

Join us on Friday, 24 March from 7.30 – 11.30pm for a night of quizzing, fun and food.

Teams of 6 at £15 per head.

As usual please bring plates and condiments (cutlery will be provided). We are offering a choice of curries or chilli on the night with all the trimmings.

There will be a prize for the best-dressed table so pull your teams together, think of a team name, make your food choices and pay via Parentpay.

We look forward to seeing you on 24 March.

The team of two will now represent the South East at Nottingham’s Holmepierepoint in April.
