Learning Support Assistant

Grade 4 term-time only – 30hrs per week.

We have a vacancy for a full-time learning support assistant. Our Learning Support team work with students who have learning disabilities and difficulties to help them make the best possible progress academically & pastorally in their time at Oathall.  On a typical day you might work in a classroom helping students to access the lesson or you might work with smaller groups of students to help them engage with their learning and to ensure we support their individual learning programmes.

Experience isn’t necessary but a keenness to develop your skills and knowledge of working with young people with learning disabilities or difficulties is essential.

The full time equivalent salary is £18,795 to £19,171 per annum (actual salary £12,601 to £12,853).
