Teacher of Mathematics

We are seeking to appoint a teacher with the abilities to teach Mathematics at Key Stages 3 and 4.  This is an exceptional opportunity for an outstanding newly qualified or experienced teacher to join a strong and successful team. There is a TLR available for a candidate who could take responsibility for numeracy across the curriculum initiatives.

The Mathematics Faculty are accommodated in fully refurbished premises that opened in September 2018 and provides an outstanding learning environment. The team work closely together and place a great emphasis on practical, investigative and problem solving activities. More able students study Further Mathematics alongside GCSE Mathematics.

Oathall is an ambitious and forward thinking 11-16 community college with 1000 students.  We are strategic partners in a local Teaching School Alliance.   The school is characterised by our high expectations and an absolute commitment to raising standards and achievement for all. Physical Education Teacher – Full Time

Temporary to cover Maternity Leave

We are seeking to appoint a teacher of Physical Education to cover a maternity leave with effect from 1st November 2019.  The person appointed will be required to teach PE at Key Stage 3 and 4. The ability to teach dance would be an advantage. Applications are welcome from experienced teachers, NQTs, and former teachers returning to teaching.

Physical Education and dance operate within the Performance faculty which also includes Music and Drama.  Strong teaching is a feature across the faculty and thorough, well resourced schemes are in place for all year groups to support teaching and learning. Learning is enriched with a wide range of extra-curricular activities including clubs and competitive fixtures.

PE and dance both benefit from outstanding facilities at Oathall. These include a purpose built dance studio, a flood lit 3G artificial pitch and a newly refurbished sports hall.
