Teacher of Mathematics

Full Time – September 2019

We are seeking to appoint a teacher with the abilities to teach Mathematics at Key Stages 3 and 4.  This is an exceptional opportunity for an outstanding newly qualified or experienced teacher to join a strong and successful team. There is a TLR available for a candidate who could take responsibility for numeracy across the curriculum initiatives.

The Mathematics Faculty are accommodated in fully refurbished premises that opened in September 2018 and provides an outstanding learning environment. The team work closely together and place a great emphasis on practical, investigative and problem solving activities. More able students study Further Mathematics alongside GCSE Mathematics. The faculty are celebrating excellent GCSE results with 25% of students achieving grade 7 or above in GCSE mathematics this summer.

Oathall is an ambitious and forward thinking 11-16 community college with 1000 students.  We are strategic partners in a local Teaching School Alliance.   The school is characterised by our high expectations and an absolute commitment to raising standards and achievement for all. We are committed to Continuing Professional Learning through a strong training programme.
