Oathall Youth Speaks internal competition

4th March 2024Joanna Patch

It’s almost time for Oathall to host the first internal round of Oathall Youth Speaks debates, and we invite you to come and support our incredible students!

This is the first year Oathall has hosted its internal competition, and, as always, it promises to be an exciting showcase of talent and confidence as 18 of our students from years 7 to 11 take the stage to present their speeches on topics they are passionate about. Whether they’re tackling thought-provoking topics, making us laugh with humour, or moving us with passion, they’re sure to impress you with their poise, creativity, and powerful communication skills.

The competition will take place on Thursday, 14 March at 5:00pm in the main hall. Doors open at 4:30pm.

Bring your loudest cheers as we show our students just how much we believe in them!

We can’t wait to see you there.

Pre-loved Prom Shop – donations needed

4th March 2024Joanna Patch

After the roaring success of last year’s ‘Pre-Loved Prom Shop’, we are thrilled to announce that Oathall will be holding a pre-loved prom shop once again this year.

Last year’s event was a huge success because of the incredible generosity of people who donated their beautiful clothes/shoes/bags. With this in mind, we are asking for your help once again.

Do you have any evening suits, evening dresses, shoes, handbags or accessories that you no longer need, but would like them to be loved and used again? If so, please could you bring them along to Oathall school reception by 3:00pm on Friday, 19 April.

Many thanks for your help.
