Once again, Oathall Farm students achieved notable success at this year’s South of England show.
All of our students worked hard over the three days of the Show and were a credit to the college. The animals were looked after impeccably and shown to a very high standard receiving fantastic feedback from the judges and public alike. Our results were:
First place Ayrshire Cow – Rusty
First place Ayrshire Calf – Handler James Verney
Best Student Calf Handler – Emelia Eade
Third place Student Pig Handler – Leighton Snelgrove
Commercial Champion Pig and Reserve Champion – shown on behalf of Andrew Strong
Our students were supported by staff led by Mrs Woodward. Congratulations go to everyone involved it was a great team effort!
