Students from Oathall were runaway winners at the District Cross Country competition this week. The event, hosted by the Weald School took place at Jubilee Fields in Billingshurst. Oathall competed against 13 other schools in the district. There were some outstanding individual and team performances demonstrating exceptional determination and team spirit.
Congratulations go to the following students for their exceptional individual performances:
- Darja Knotkova-Hanley (yr10) 1st place
- Katie Hastings (yr10) 2nd place
- Holly Taylor (yr8) 2nd place
- Will Gordon (yr9) 3rd place
The year 10 girls also won the team event. The team included Darja Knotkova-Hanley,Katie Hastings, Hannah Taylor, Alannah Blain and Gemma Batchelor.
PE teachers, Mrs Avery and Mr Mills were proud of everyone involved especially as they stayed to help clean the pavillion at the end of the event. Well Done!
