On Friday of last week our fantastically talented Year 11 Drama students performed the practical part of their GCSE qualification, which accounted for a significant proportion of their final mark.
The day comprised of monologues, duologues and group performances, from well known plays including JB Priestley’s An Inspector Calls, Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet and Oscar Wilde’s An Ideal Husband.
Each student delivered their very best in demanding conditions under lights, with their performances being assessed by an external examiner, and also recorded.
The support this tight-knit group of students gave each other was tremendous and a joy to witness.
