Oathall’s U12 girl’s football team delivered a last-minute goal to secure a victory against opponents Sackville this week. It was a thrilling match with plenty of goals from both teams.

The game started quickly, both teams fighting for the ball. It went tackle to tackle, throw in to throw in, eventually the first goal was scored by Erica, 1-0 Oathall!
Sackville started with the ball but soon got tackled and with a quick pass to Erica a second goal was scored for Oathall. Sophie tackled hard but Sackville came back and scored two goals bring the score to 2-2. Oathall scored once more with Sackville equalising. With minutes left and both teams desperate to win, Emily scored the winner. Final score 4-3 to Oathall!
