We are super-proud of our three Y10 Business students – Freya, Mattie and Jasmine – who have successfully completed the Youth Entrepreneurs Academy Haywards Heath (YEAHH) Programme, culminating with a business fair held at the Orchards last month, where they marketed and sold their Sip Kits – mocktails in a jar.
The programme is lead by Haywards Heath Town Council and supported by Haywards Heath Business Association and The Orchards Shopping Centre. Students attended a series of masterclasses with local business professionals to learn about marketing, finance, networking, leadership and problem-solving, all of it backed-up by their curriculum learning at school.
It was a big commitment from the students and they more than rose to the occasion, increasing their confidence, business knowledge and entrepreneurship skills.
