On Tuesday 28 January Oathall Community College entered two teams into an inclusive New Age Kurling Competition at St Wilf’s CE Primary School, Haywards Heath.
It was organised by Mid-Sussex Active, our local schools sports partnership.
Curling is a sport in which players traditionally slide large stones across a sheet of ice towards a target area. It originated in Scotland in the 16th century and has been recognised as a winter Olympic sport since 1998.
New Age Kurling is simply curling adapted to being played indoors.
Our Year 7s put on an admirable display and the Year 9s won their event!
Congratulations!
