Renata Sawa, a teacher from Zespol Szkol Specjalnych in Poland has won a European Award for her report on her experiences job shadowing at Oathall.
Taking part in the Erasmus+ programme an EU-funded international programme, Renata Sawa spent time in the 2013 summer term working with teachers at Oathall. Once back in Poland, Renata shared her knowledge and organised micro-teaching sessions, workshops and newsletters with her colleagues. Her report into her experiences at Oathall and how it has improved her teaching techniques was recognised by the Erasmus+ programme as being exceptional.
Mrs Sawa received an award and was also filmed over three days for a 3-minute inspirational video which has been released by the Erasmus programme.
