In celebration of World Book Day on 3 March 2022, Oathall will be using that week to celebrate all things books!

Our School Library has arranged a fantastic array of activities for our students over the week. Additionally, students can collect a £1 Book Token from the library until 27 March, which they can then exchange for one of the £1 books. Alternatively, students can use it to get £1 off another book at participating bookshops.

Students can bring books from home that they have grown out of and swap them with other students. Also, there will be old library books available (for free) to take home and enjoy.

During our weekly Whispering Wednesday, we will be doing craft activities, including making origami bookmarks and learning how to make mini-books.

Students can read a poem, or share a page of a book, at our popular Open Mic lunchtime sessions.

Created by our students; Students can come and test their knowledge about books and other subjects either in teams or individually. No sign-up is required. (Kahoot skills might come in useful for Years 10 & 11.)
