Our students knocked it out of the park at the public speaking event yesterday! Their confidence, creativity, and passion were truly inspiring, and the audience was completely captivated.
Here are just a few highlights:
- Ella stole the show with her witty discussion on feminism. Her clear and engaging delivery kept the audience on the edge of their seats- even winning the proposer of the event!
- Elizabeth and Martha made the audience think about what it means to be a feminist! From David Cameron’s questionable fashion choices to the iconic Barbie movie- they were more than ‘ken-ough’ and would have made the suffragettes proud!
- Emma, Jasmine, and Peter presented such an intellectual debate last night on the death penalty showing just how intelligent and worldly-wise our students are! they took the audience on a roller coaster of emotions…
They truly represented the very best of Oathall’s talent, showcasing their critical thinking, communication skills, and stage presence.
