Our U14 football champs!
Our Year 9 boys won the Mid-Sussex District U14 7- a-side football competition on Thursday 6 March at Oakmeeds Community College in Burgess Hill.
Oathall triumphed over teams from St Pauls, Oakmeeds and Weald on their way to the final securing three clean sheets in the process:
- OCC 1-0 St Pauls
- OCC 0- 1 Weald (B team)
- OCC 2-0 Weald (A team)
- OCC 2-0 St Pauls in final.
PE teacher and team coach Mr Morris, said: “Oathall dominated the tournament from start to finish with a strong, solid performance. The team conducted themselves well both on and off the pitch and should be proud of the result.”
Congratulations to Tom Koniotes, Dean Burgess, Sam Candfield, Aaron Field, Jo Willis, Charlie Tyzack, Sam Bines, Fraser Russell and team captain Max Baker.
Our man of the tournament was Dean Burgess who was our top scorer; he netted three goals on the day.
