Parallel Games Students

Well done to all of the Year 9 students that volunteered at the Parallel Youth Games at the Triangle in Burgess Hill. The games are a disability event for all schools in Sussex and children take part in a range of activities from New Age Kurling to Cricket.  Oathall’s Year 9 students officiated in the Boccia and played their part in making the event both enjoyable and successful.

Year 8 student Luc Rohan took part as a competitor in the Mid-Sussex swimming team.  Our congratulations go to Luc who achieved two 1st places and one 2nd place in his events, leading to a gold medal for the Mid Sussex Team. Luc will now start training for the athletics at the Sussex School Games finals at K2 on Wednesday 10th July.

Many thanks go to all our student volunteers, Maddie Aloof, Josie Batchelor, Annika Beadle, Jonathan Beddingham, Lily Bravo, Tony Bryant,  Matthew Davies, Bradley Edlin, Georgie, Fletcher, Phoebe Freeman, Naomi Godwin, George Goss, Daniel Gower, Sophie Hicks, Chloe Pearce, Ben Tucker and Connie Went for making this such a successful day.
