The 100% Design Exhibition in London is the largest and longest running contemporary design event for industry professionals in the UK, and last week, our Year 11 Product Design class, accompanied by their teacher Mr Maier, went there to explore the latest new trends and technologies.
Students used the opportunity to talk to design experts about their products and to discover what is happening at the forefront of the design world. The group took a moment to sit and listen in the Beatnik Sound Station Chair by Slovenia Design, picked up some innovative drawing boards at The Straight Lines Trading Company, and relaxed in the colourful and beautiful Buzzi Space picnic area.
They left inspired, having learned a lot, and with new ideas buzzing around their heads.
