- Easyfundraising
easyfundraising.org.uk helps charities, schools, sports clubs, community groups, and other good causes to raise money when their supporters shop online. So far we’ve raised over £3 million for causes throughout the UK. It works in a similar way to nectar, but instead of earning points when you shop, you raise a donation for your cause instead. It’s as simple as that!
You can shop with over 2,000 well known stores and each will donate up to 15% of what you spend. For example, John Lewis will donate 2.5%, Amazon 2.5%, The Body Shop 10%, some insurance retailers will even donate up to £30 simply for taking out a policy with them! It’s very simple – once you’ve registered with us, when you shop with one of our retailers, our system makes a note of your purchase, collects the donation from the retailer and passes it to your chosen good cause. That’s it! No hassle for you, we do all the hard work while you shop as your normally would. (more…)
- Raising funds for Oathall
There are many ways you can help support the PTA in raising money for the college. We’ve all got busy lives and pressures on our time so here are a few easy ways that you can help.
- OPTAlot! – The Oathall Lottery
Win a monthly cash prize and help raise money for Oathall.
Half the jackpot goes on First and Second prizes; half funds school projects.
Draws will happen once a month, October to July. Join in at the start of the school year, or, if you miss the beginning, join in later and we’ll simply enter you for the next ten draws. Buy in multiples of £10, e.g. if you spend £40, your name will be entered 4 times in each month’s draw.
Payment will be via ParentPay, OR an annual standing order OR a cheque into school made out to ‘OPTA’.
This draw will be run by OPTA under the MSDC Small Society Lottery rules.- It replaces the present ‘500 Club’. Parents who currently have a standing order for the 500 Club do not need to do anything and will automatically be entered into the lottery.
- There will be no paper tickets. A new Oathall Lottery computer programme picks the winners at random.
