At Key Stage 4 the curriculum is designed to be broad and balanced and to provide differentiated pathways that lead to success and qualifications for all students. Full detailed information is provided for students and parents in Year 9.
All students follow a core curriculum:

- English Literature/media
- Mathematics
- Science (GCSE Physics, Chemistry and Biology can be studied separately through the Triple Science Course)
- Physical Education which may include short course GCSE, Junior Sports Leadership Award, Dance Leaders Award
- Religious, Personal, Social Development
- ICT
- A Modern Foreign Language (French, German or Spanish) will be studied to GCSE or NVQ Levels 1/2 by most students
