Oathall is a mixed comprehensive secondary school for students aged between 11 and 16.  We are situated on the boundaries of the town of Haywards Heath and the village of Lindfield in the heart of Mid-Sussex.

Oathall is designated a specialist college in an innovative and creative combination of specialisms; science and visual arts with a rural dimension.

The college opened in 1938 and has a full spectrum of specialist accommodation and facilities including well-equipped classrooms, a music centre, Learning Resource Centre, a drama studio, a brand new dance studio and a large sports hall with public viewing gallery.

We have a rolling programme of building development and refurbishment; many classrooms now feature the latest technology including interactive whiteboards, 3D projection, video conferencing and wireless networking.

Our newest building is our Virtual Learning Classroom or VLC, it was built using the latest eco technologies and offers students access to the state-of-the-art IT facilities.

Outside we have a running track, three 3G MUGA pitches which are fully floodlit and available to hire outside school hours and a fantastic five-acre farm.  We are also one of only two secondary schools in the county that can boast a heated outdoor swimming pool.

We have a rolling programme of building development and refurbishment to reach all parts of the school over the next 10 to 15 years.
