Oathall’s Parent Teacher Association (OPTA) is a friendly and enthusiastic group of people with a desire to contribute positively to school life. Like other PTAs, we fundraise for those extra things that the school budget cannot cater for whilst strengthening the school community through social events and activities.
Why join the PTA?
- Have fun
- Build new student facilities
- Connect with other parents
- Make your voice heard
- Be a super-parent
- Stay informed
If you would like to help out, please complete our contact form below and someone will get back to you, or simply have a chat with one of us at any of the events we run.
What does the PTA do?
We organise a number of events throughout the year to raise funds for the school, these include Christmas fairs, quiz nights, raffles and tombolas. Family and friends can also take part in our monthly lottery, OPTAlot! which guarantees a cash prize every month!
We also hold monthly meetings where we discuss business and organise arrangements for events and activities.
Although you automatically become a member of the PTA as soon as your child joins the school, we are always looking for new volunteers to take an active role in our work. You can help out at just one event or offer your time on a more regular basis, it really is up to you. Any help and support you can give would be very welcome.
Oathall PTA meetings are held on the dates shown from 7 to 8.30pm (unless otherwise stated). Please do come and join us, new members are always welcome.
